rug pulled from under me

For the past 3 weeks our promotional team have split up between OC and LA, and ive been in charge of OC. Things are going really bad on my end.. i try not to think about it... just because i know im capable of running a solid team, it just sucks that the odds are heavily against me right now. Out of all the however many promoters we had, OC was just left with one thats good. Thats just because he was new and didnt know many of the old promoters... whom stayed in LA and knew eachother. YEAAA i had 3 weeks to build an OC team but its not easy! after spending a whole year building one team, talking to them, motivate them, deal with them FOR A WHOLE YEAR.. and suddenly have the rug pulled from under me when they left! its somewhat not fair but im not one to complain. i tried building a team in 3 weeks, it just didnt work out. theres many other elements too.. the crowd is different, the feel, the music and the whole scene is different. its hard pulling the same old crowd when theyre not feeling it anymore. the clubs name is basically tainted. And im at an uphill battle to stay in the ring. Ofcourse im gonna stay positive. everything can be fixed and improved upon. but as of right now, the only thing im looking forward to is my birthday. :)
